To thoroughly verify the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the company’s comprehensive management system, ensure full-lifecycle product quality control and the implementation of work safety responsibilities, and consolidate the foundation for high-quality development, our company has successfully completed the 2026 annual internal audit of the comprehensive management system.
Led by the Quality Assurance Department, a special audit team composed of key internal auditors from core departments including technology, production and quality inspection was formed. Following the PDCA cycle, the team carried out full-coverage and multi-dimensional systematic reviews of the company’s management and all functional departments, comprehensively inspecting the operation of the comprehensive management system.
Founded in 1994, Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of mechatronic products. The company has always regarded system construction as the “ballast stone” for steady development.

the company has built an all-round and integrated comprehensive management system covering design and development, supply chain management, production, quality inspection, after-sales service and compliance management after more than 30 years of accumulation, forming a sound operation pattern featuring scientific top-level design, strict process control, clear responsibility implementation and closed-loop continuous improvement.
1. System Upgrade: From Standardization to Compliance, Building a Multi-dimensional Integration Matrix
The company adheres to the principle of “standard guidance, full coverage and in-depth integration” and continuously promotes system iteration and upgrading.
Since obtaining ISO 9002 certification in 1996, the company has kept pursuing higher standards:
2015: Certified for three management systems and HSE certification of Sinopec & CNPC;
2016: Obtained SIL Functional Safety Certification issued by TÜV Rheinland Germany;
2017: Awarded API Q1 Certification by the American Petroleum Institute;
2020: Passed CCC compulsory certification for explosion-proof electrical products.
These qualifications mark that the company has successfully integrated quality management, environmental management, occupational health and safety management, functional safety and industry-specific requirements into a unified framework, realizing an operation mode of “one system, multi-standard integration, coordinated and efficient”.
In response to the application requirements of its core product — CKD Series Intelligent Electric Actuators under harsh working conditions in power, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical and other industries, the company has improved the three-level document system to ensure in-depth integration of system requirements with actual production and operation.
At present, the company is equipped with more than 360 sets of precision testing instruments and production equipment, and has been recognized as a Municipal Metrology Qualification Unit, providing a solid hardware foundation and data support for the efficient operation of the system.
2. Integration of R&D and Production: Empowered by System, Creating High-quality Intelligent Manufacturing
The company strengthens the management principles of “full participation, process approach and continuous improvement” to ensure the system is not only “well-established” but also “well-implemented”.
Strengthening top-level drive:
A system management leading group headed by the Executive Deputy General Manager has been established, with the Quality Assurance Department as the responsible department. Through the responsibility mechanism of “layer-by-layer decomposition and level-by-level implementation”, quality objectives are assigned to each post and quality responsibilities to each person.
Deepening process control:
R&D: Strictly implements design review, verification and validation to ensure product performance meets international advanced standards;
Manufacturing: Promotes standardized operations, with key processes including die-casting, machining and assembly under strict control. Triple inspections are carried out: spectral analysis, gas content testing and tensile test. All housings pass 3 MPa hydrostatic test;
Quality inspection: Implements the full-process “three-inspection system” (incoming inspection, in-process inspection, outgoing inspection) and a closed-loop disposal mechanism for non-conforming products to ensure zero defects for delivered products.
Focusing on continuous improvement:
An agile problem identification and rectification mechanism is established through daily inspections, special audits and regular management reviews. For internal audit findings and customer feedback, closed-loop management of “cause analysis – measure formulation – effect verification” is implemented to promote continuous optimization of the system.
Supported by the system, the company has successfully obtained dual licenses for the design and manufacturing of civil nuclear safety equipment, been awarded the title of National Specialized, Sophisticated, Unique and New “Little Giant” Enterprise.
Its Class 1E K3 Nuclear-grade Valve Electric Actuators have passed national appraisal, and products are exported to Thailand, India, Russia and many other countries and regions.
3. In-depth Checkup: Focusing on Risk Thinking, Improving Audit Quality and Efficiency
This internal audit is an in-depth targeted checkup of the operation effectiveness of the company’s comprehensive management system.
Based on standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, HSE, API, GJB 9001C, CCC, ATEX, WF2, Five-star After-sales Service Management System and Information Security Management System, combined with the company’s system documents and applicable laws and regulations, the audit team adopted the process approach. Through reviewing documents and records, on-site verification and interviews with key personnel, the team conducted detailed assessments on process performance, risk identification and response, and compliance obligations of each department.
During the audit, the team focused on risk thinking and process performance, focusing on verifying the suitability of system documents, compliance of key process control and effectiveness of rectification of previous non-conformities. For detailed problems found, the audit team not only recorded objectively but also put forward constructive improvement suggestions from the perspective of system optimization, guiding all departments to seek fundamental solutions at the process design level, so as to effectively play the role of internal audit in “preventing problems before they occur”.
4. Closed-loop Management: Consolidating Audit Results, Driving Long-term Development
This internal audit has not only verified the scientificity and compliance of the company’s comprehensive system construction and operation, but also strengthened all staff’s awareness of quality responsibility and compliance bottom-line thinking.
In the next step, Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics will strictly follow the principle of “promoting rectification through audit, promoting excellence through rectification”. For non-conformities and observations raised in this audit, a rectification ledger will be established, responsible departments and deadlines will be defined, and the Quality Assurance Department will track and verify to ensure closed-loop management of all issues.
