On October 20, 2021, Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics Co., Ltd. was among 63 leading industrial suppliers selected by Sinopec Group to sign a strategic procurement cooperation agreement at the China Petroleum & Chemical Industry Procurement Conference in Suzhou. The agreement establishes Hengchun as a qualified strategic supplier of electric actuators and electro-hydraulic actuators for Sinopec projects nationwide.
The signing ceremony took place during the 2021 E-Pack Industrial Products Exhibition & Petroleum and Petrochemical Industry Exhibition, held at the Suzhou International Expo Center. The event brought together nearly 400 enterprises from China's industrial products sector for the 6th Annual Procurement Conference of China's petroleum and chemical industry.
Sinopec Group Vice President Li Yonglin and Wang Ling, Deputy General Manager of Sinopec Materials and Equipment Department, visited the Hengchun booth earlier that day, where Chairman Jiang Chengyu and Sales General Manager Xu Bin presented the company's latest actuator prototypes, including newly developed intelligent electric actuators and gas-over-oil (pneumatic-hydraulic) actuators.
The strategic procurement cooperation agreement between Sinopec and Yangzhou Hengchun covers the following scope:
Product categories: Intelligent electric actuators (part-turn and multi-turn), electro-hydraulic actuators, and gas-over-oil pipeline actuators
Application areas: Refining, chemical production, oil & gas storage and transportation, and pipeline projects across Sinopec's nationwide operations
Supplier status: Qualified strategic supplier with priority access to Sinopec e-Procurement platform bidding
Quality requirements: Compliance with Sinopec HSE standards, API Q1, and applicable explosion-proof (ATEX/IECEx) certifications
Hengchun was one of only 63 suppliers — including Baogang Steel, JAC Motors, Chint Electric, Hollysys, Huawei, and Wuzhong Instrument — selected for this strategic partnership tier.
Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics has supplied actuators to Sinopec projects since 2007. Key milestones include:
