On March 20, 2021, the appraisal meeting for two new products, namely the intelligent electric actuator and the intelligent electro-hydraulic linkage actuator, jointly developed by South China Branch of the National Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd. and Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics Co., Ltd., was held in the second conference room on the third floor of the Tarim Petroleum Hotel in Beijing.
The meeting was chaired by Chen Minghai, President of the China Petroleum and Chemical Automation Application Association. The appraisal committee, consisting of Professor Wang Hong'an from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (Institute of Software, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Dean Zhao Shengtun from the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Professor Tan Dingzhong from the School of Mechatronic Engineering, Harbin Engineering University, Senior Engineer Qiu Huayun from China Petroleum Kunlun Contracting and Engineering Corporation, Senior Engineer Huang Mingya from Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, Director Gong Hong from the Science and Technology Department of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Senior Engineer Liang Jianping from the Digitalization Department of the National Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd., Deputy General Manager Liu Jianwen from Guangdong Provincial Pipeline Network Co., Ltd. of the National Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd., Deputy Director Zhou Feng from the CCID Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Vice Dean Wan Jun from the East China Pipeline Design Institute of the National Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd., Senior Engineer Yao Lei from Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd. of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, Senior Expert Liu Yingjie from Langfang Pipeline Design Institute of China National Petroleum Corporation, and Deputy Director Li Honglai from the North China Branch of the National Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd., appraised the intelligent electric actuator and the intelligent electro-hydraulic linkage actuator. Deputy General Manager Wang Xianzhong, Director Lin Wubin, Senior Expert Yang Changqun from South China Branch of the National Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd., Chairman Jiang Chengyu, General Manager Xu Bin of the Sales Department, General Manager Cao Chun of the Marketing Department, Technical Manager Jiang Tongming, and relevant technical backbones from Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics Co., Ltd. attended the appraisal meeting.
The participating leaders and experts listened to the report on the development and technical summary of the new products, reviewed relevant appraisal materials such as performance testing reports and novelty search reports, and inspected two prototype models of the new products on site. After inquiry and discussion, the appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the two new products, namely the intelligent electric actuator and the intelligent electro-hydraulic linkage actuator, jointly developed by South China Branch of National Oil and Natural Gas Pipeline Network Group Co., Ltd. and Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics Co., Ltd., have achieved international-level main performance indicators, and both new products have successfully passed the appraisal.
The research and development of two new products have solved technical challenges such as valve position drift after long-term operation of oil and gas pipeline valves, lack of preventive maintenance functions, and inconvenient asset management. They have enhanced the intelligent application level of electric actuators and electro-hydraulic linkage actuators for control valves in smart oil and gas pipeline networks, meeting the needs of intelligent operation throughout the entire lifecycle of oil and gas pipeline networks. This has expanded the social recognition and brand reputation of the company's high-end actuator products, gaining a competitive edge in capturing the national oil and gas pipeline network market. As new products that replace imported ones, they have a vast market and technology promotion prospect, with significant economic and social benefits.
