On August 29, 2017, at the Yandun Compressor Station in Hami, Xinjiang, along the China Petroleum West Pipeline, the 56" Class900 pipeline ball valve, equipped with Yangzhou Hengchun Electric Actuator, successfully passed the on-site industrial test organized by the China Machinery United Committee, China Petroleum West Pipeline Branch, and Hefei General Machinery Research Institute.
The industrial test project team conducted rigorous functional and performance tests on Yangzhou Hengchun Electric Actuator at the domestic valve test site of Yandun Compressor Station, simulating extreme operating conditions of natural gas pipelines (high pressure, full pressure difference, strong vibration, etc.).
Field industrial tests have proven that Yangzhou Hengchun Electric Actuator is stable, safe, and reliable in quality, laying a solid foundation for the localization of key equipment in the 56" Class900 (the largest in the world) natural gas pipeline project for the eastward transmission of Russian gas.
On March 1, 2017, Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics Co., Ltd. and China Petroleum West Pipeline Company signed a joint research and development agreement to collaboratively develop an electric actuator for the 56" Class900 ball valve. The development schedule requires that factory inspection be completed by the end of July, and on-site industrial testing be completed in August.
The China-Russia East Pipeline is China's largest-diameter and highest-pressure natural gas pipeline, with an ambient temperature reaching -46℃, posing very high requirements for the environmental adaptability of electric actuators. Under the urgent circumstances of tight time constraints and heavy tasks, Yangzhou Hengchun Electronics Co., Ltd. relied on technological innovation and independent design and development capabilities. All departments collaborated closely and worked overtime to complete the localization task on time and to quality standards, in accordance with the technical conditions for the trial production of electric actuators for 56" Class900 ball valves, the factory test outline, and the on-site industrial test outline.
